The zinc alloy shell is made by die-casting process, with nickel or copper base on the surface. It has high strength, corrosion resistance and electromagnetic shielding functions, and is suitable for high mechanical stress and harsh industrial environment.

Compared with plastic housing, zinc alloy has better mechanical protection, but slightly higher weight; compared with pure metal housing, it has lower cost and higher processing flexibility.

The metal shell can effectively suppress signal interference and is suitable for high-frequency signal transmission scenarios. It supports IP67 protection level and is waterproof and dustproof. Some models (such as DB15 male) achieve long-term stable connection through thread locking and sealing ring design.
